This is a copy of a post that I have posted onto our cluster blog to encourage other classes to take the opportunity to use International Education Week 2008 to reach out and connect with other classes around the world.

International Education week is an opportunity for us all to reach out and to collaborate with students around the globe. For the last two years I have been working with the students at Woodford School in Plymouth in the UK. This network is now growing and next week I will be working with students in London, Norway and in Plymouth. If you wish to take part and reach out to the global community you can start to make links with other schools in the cluster, or you can be part of what we are doing here:
Check out the following links and see how you can include your classes in them:

I will be working with the students from Plymouth and a school in London over the coming weeks to see if we can not get a three way partnership going with a collaborative Gamemaker project I have on the go.
Reach out, you never know where it will lead!
